The University of Tokyo raised its Activity Restrictions Index for Preventing the Spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) to Level B on July 12th, 2021, in accordance with the state of emergency being declared and remains at the same level as it was further extended until September 12th, 2021 in Saitama, Chiba, Tokyo, Kanagawa, Osaka and Okinawa.
