※"Research Students" study a specific research theme under a professor for one year. No credits or degrees will be awarded.

Graduate Research Student Program and Graduate International Research Student Program Application and Selection Schedule for the Entry in October 2026 - Graduate School of Frontier Sciences (GSFS), The University of Tokyo -

Graduate Research Student Program and Graduate International Research Student Program are a non-degree seeking program for those who wish to research on a specific subject under the supervision of a professor at the GSFS.

Please note that the application schedule is different for graduate research students and graduate international research students.

  • International applicants should, as a general rule, apply for admission as a Graduate International Research Student Program.
