Scholarship for GSFS International Students

Application Deadline July 29(Wed), 2020

For those who are enrolling in Oct 2020/Apr 2021,  August 24 (Mon), 2020
Eligibility
(1) Privately financed international students who are nationals of Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, East Timor, or Vietnam and who are enrolled in a Japanese Graduate school (Research students are ineligible).
(2) Having strong interest in the improvement of international understanding and a strong will to participate in events hosted by the Foundation.
(3) Not receiving any scholarship or funding from other scholarship foundations under any circumstance.
(4) Having a 'college student' visa status.
(5) Those whose parent is not employed in Japan.
(6) Those who have not obtained a PhD. degree.
(7) Those who have more than one year left for competing their course when scholarship payment starts.
(8) Those who are able to communicate in Japanese.
(9) Those who are willing to participate exchange activities as almnus, even if his/her Sato Yo International scholarship has expired.
Amount Amount: 180,000 JPY/month
Duration:
a) Student enrolling in October: October 2020 to September 2022
b) Student enrolling in April: April 2021 to March 2023
Apply To Applicants must

(1) download the Application Guidelines and application forms from the Foundation Website.
(2) email  Application Form for Scholarship from private Foundations to ILO (ilo[at]edu.k.u-tokyo.ac.jo) by July 29th (Wed) , and obtain an Admin-No.
(3) make registration from the form at the Foundation website by July 31 (Fri).
(4) make PDF of all your application documents, and email them to ILO by August 3 (Mon) 16:00 pm.  Recommendation letter must be emailed from your supervisor directly to ILO.
(5) submit the original of application documents to ILO by the designated date.
