Scholarship for GSFS International Students

Application Deadline February 1st (Mon), 2021
Eligibility
(1) Privately financed international students from Asian countries who are studying at, or allowed to be enrolled in a graduate school in Japan as a regular student with college visa status.
(2) Those who are 34 years old or younger at the time of application.
(3) Those who have good academic performance, and need a financial assistance.
(4) Those who do not receive other scholarships.
(5) Those who have Japanese language proficiency certificate TOPJ with advanced C level (JLPT not accepted).
Amount Duration: April 2021 to March 2022
Amount : 60,000 JPY/month (Master's student), 80,000JPY/month (Doctoral student)
# of applicants to be recommended All applicants fulfilling the eligibility criteria would be recommended.
Apply To Applicants must email the following documents in PDF to ILO, and submit the originals at the ILO office. Submission by postal mail is also accepted.

Application Form should be printed single-sided and not be stapled, whereas the foundation designated application form must be printed double-sided.

(1) Application Form for Scholarship from private Foundations
(2) Transcript of graduate school and of undergraduate school
(3) Application Form (Foundation specified)
(4) Recommendation letter (paper size A4)
(5) Certificate of Enrollment, 1 original (or Certificate of Admission)
(6) Residence card (or Certificate of Residency)
(7) Research plan (Size of A4)
(8) Postcard issued by JP Post to notify the result, 1 sheet
(9) Certificate of Japanese Language Proficiency (only TOPJ)

Those who pass the first screening will be interviewed end-March at Amagasaki in Hyogo prefecture. Transportation fee should be paid by applicants.
