Scholarship for GSFS International Students

Application Deadline November 18th (Thu)
Eligibility
(1) International students from India who will be enrolled in GSFS as a masters or doctoral course student with a "college student" visa status, as of April 2022.
(2) Those who will contribute to encourage Japanese-Indian exchanges and friendship.
(3) Those who will not receive other JEES scholarships, or any other financial aid from other organizations which exceeds 600,000 yen/year. (except loan-type scholarship and tuition fee exemption)
(4) Those who have clear purpose and plan to study abroad, and would be able to achieve them.
(5) Those who need financial support.
(6) Those who are in good health, of good conduct and have good academic performance.
(7) Japanese Language skill required.

Apply To Applicants must submit the following documents to ILO via email. (ilo[at]edu.k.u-tokyo.ac.jp; replace [at] with @.)

(1) Application Form for Scholarship from private Foundations
(2) Transcript of your current course (or your previous course if you have not obtained any credits.)
(3) Copy of your residence card
(4) Copy of your student ID card

Before submitting your application, be sure to read Steps to apply since scholarships with the University recommendation can not be declined. An applicant who passed the GSFS internal screening will be required to submit other documents stated in the guideline.
