Kashiwa Library is starting an “On-demand Books Campaign” from Jun. 18th (Mon) though 29th (Fri). During this campaign, please let us know any books you feel should be in Kashiwa Library.
We accept book requests all year, but this is a special call for book request as a campaign event.
Please recommend any books you want Kashiwa Library to have in its collection, such as books you’d like to read, or those you’d like to recommend to other people or to students.
We also welcome suggestions for books for learning Japanese and guidebooks for Japan for international students.
You can submit your recommendation online (The University of Tokyo Library MyOPAC is also available in 2nd floor computer, Kashiwa Library).
During the campaign period, you can apply also by e-mail or paper application form next to the Kashiwa Library counter.
※We are also scheduled to campaign in the fall.
