Applicant eligibility for those wishing to enroll in September 2016
according to the Guidelines for Applicants to the 2016 Master/Doctoral Course

This is to announce that the date of enrollment referred to for admission in September 2016, stated as “tentative schedule” (e.g., p.1 Introduction Item 1) in the Guidelines for Applicants to the 2016 Master/Doctoral Course of the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences The University of Tokyo, has been determined as September 23, 2016. Accordingly, “the day before the enrollment date” stated in 2. Applicant Eligibility of the guidelines should be interpreted as September 22, 2016.

Those who are expected to meet any of the applicant eligibility criteria listed in 2. Applicant Eligibility of the guidelines between September 23 and September 30, 2016 should contact the Student Affairs Section, GSFS (E-mail: k-kyomu@adm.k.u-tokyo.ac.jp) well in advance to confirm possible eligibility. For September 2016 enrollment, special consideration for possible enrollment may be given for this one week only.

The second examination of the doctoral course of all GSFS departments (previously announced as July 2016 (tentative schedule) will be conducted in August 2016, and the announcement of successful candidates will be made sometime in September.

Successful master and doctoral course candidates will receive admission procedure documents early in September or sooner, and will be required to complete their admission procedures by the announced September deadline.
