Eisuke Sasaki, a first-year Ph.D. Student in the Department of Materials Science, Receives The Student Poster Presentation Award at the "IUPAC-PSK50 International Conference on Next Horizons in Polymers"
- Honors & Awards
Mr. Eisuke Sasaki (D1, Yuji Sasaki Laboratory, Department of Materials Science) received the Student Poster Presentation Award at the "IUPAC-PSK50 International Conference on Next Horizons in Polymers" (an international conference on polymer science and engineering), held in Busan, South Korea, from September 28 to October 1, 2026.
Award Recipient: Eisuke Sasaki (Supervisor: Professor Yuji C. Sasaki)
Presentation Title: Dynamic Heterogeneity in the Trommsdorff Effect of Bulk Polymerization Probed by Diffracted X-ray Blinking (DXB)
Venue: Busan, South Korea「IUPAC-PSK50 International Conference on Next Horizons in Polymers」
We have succeeded for the first time in the world in observing and analyzing the "Trommsdorff effect," a well-known phenomenon in polymer polymerization, from the perspective of polymer dynamics using new X-ray measurement methods.
