Associate Professor Runsen Zhang of the Sustainable Society Design Center received the ESPEC Prize for the Encouragement of Environmental Studies from the ESPEC Foundation for Global Environment Research and Technology.

The prize recognizes and encourages research expected to contribute to addressing global environmental challenges. Associate Professor Zhang was honored at the award ceremony held on August 27, 2026.
