Comment from the Awardee
I am deeply honored to receive the Masaaki Aota Award (Engineering Division). In this study, I reported on the interannual variability of ocean wave systems propagating into Lützow-Holm Bay, Antarctica, as an external forcing factor contributing to the break-up of landfast ice. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my supervisors, Prof. Takuji Waseda and Dr. Tsubasa Kodaira, as well as to all members of our laboratory and everyone who attended my presentation. Encouraged by this award, I will continue to devote myself to further advancing my research.
