Research Activities

We are now developing novel physical properties originating from complex symmetry breaking. We are also studying strongly correlated electron systems from a microscopic viewpoint by means of synchrotron X-ray and neutron scattering.

Electric control of magnetization, directional dichroism, giant electromechanical coupling, giant magnetomechanical coupling, and X-ray and neutron studies on strongly correlated electron systems

We have world-best facilities SPring-8 and J-PARC in Japan. Studying at these facilities would be a wonderful experience for young materials scientists.
