Japanese Language Classes at Kashiwa Campus

** All courses will be offered at the Kashiwa Campus.

The Graduate School of Frontier Sciences provides Japanese language courses for the GSFS registered students, researchers who work on the Kashiwa campus, and their family members.

Please note that you cannot get credits from taking our Japanese classes.
Also our Japanese classes are NOT designed for those who aim to enroll in higher educational institutions in Japan.

1. Eligibility

Eligibility Students, Researchers & their Family members on Kashiwa campus.
Place Environmental Studies Bldg. Room 516.
Period Summer term: April - July
Winter term: October - February
How to apply Apply through the Online Registration System, referring to Course Descriptions and Syllabus below.
You are welcome to try out classes and take more than one courses simultaneously. Please discuss any questions you may have with the instructors before or after the class, or send an inquiry by email.

Class 1 Beginner Monday, Wednesday 9:15-10:15
Class 2 Lower elementary Monday, Wednesday 10:30-11:30
Class 3 Upper elementary Monday, Wednesday 13:00 - 14:00
Class 4 Pre-Intermediate Monday, Wednesday 14:15 - 15:15

* The schedule may change depending on the number of students and their levels.

3. Registration

Online Registration system

After completing online registration, a confirmation email will be sent to you. You can change your registered classes or personal information from the link in the email. Please keep this confirmation email until the semester ends.

Instructions on how to enter the classrooms will be dispatched to your registered e-mail address.
