On November 15th, Japanese government announced that they lift the immigration restriction for international students in stages. The University needs to apply for your entry assessment certificate to the government so that you can apply for a visa at an embassy in your country.

The timeframe that the University can submit the application is different depending on the issued date of your COE.

COEs issued from January 1, 2020 to March 31, 2020: Application procedure starts in November 2021
COEs issued from January 1, 2020 to September 30, 2020: Application procedure starts in December 2021
COEs issued from January 2020 to March 31, 2021: Application procedure starts in January 2022

After February 2022, still not announced.
