SCOPE

The 6th GSFS symposium "The Future Cancer Medicine with Genomics" will be held on Saturday, November 19.

Genome sciences are changing our lives and cancer treatments are improving. Genomics and cancer medicine seem to have been developing in different domains but now they are cooperating. In the 6th GSFS symposium, we will overview the research advancements of the two fields from the transdisciplinary point of view and discuss future cancer treatments as well as relevant human resource development, legal issues, and ethics.

 The GSFS Year-Round Symposium Series

This is the sixth symposium of the GSFS Year-Round Symposium Series 2022. The GSFS has been pursuing "transdisciplinary approaches" and embarking on "wisdom adventure" since the school's establishment in 1998. We will hold symposiums to reflect on the outcomes and achievements of the school so far and proceed to the next stage taking up topics closely related to recent public concerns to cultivate the next generation academic fields such as "life of 100 years", "EVs", "deep space exploration", and "sustainable society".
