Postgraduate Research student
This is a system for those who wish to conduct research activities in a specific research field at the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences. Japanese nationals can apply for "Postgraduate Research Student" and foreign nationals can apply for "Postgraduate Foreign Research Student". Students who are currently enrolled in other universities are not eligible to apply for a research student status.
Graduate Credits Auditors
This system allows students to take courses offered by the Graduate School as eligible courses. Auditors with foreign nationalities are not eligible to apply for a "college student" visa.
Special Research Students
This system allows students enrolled in other universities to receive research guidance from faculty members of the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences. Foreign nationals can apply for a "college student" visa as a special research student.
Special Auditing Student
This is a system that allows students enrolled at overseas partner universities to receive research guidance from Graduate School of Frontier Sciences faculty members and earn credits by taking courses. Special Auditing students will not be able to obtain a degree from GSFS. If you are a foreign national, you can apply for a "college student" visa as a Special Auditing Student.
