Research Activities
Recently, we found antioxidant activity of noble metal nanoparticles. They seem to scavenge reactive oxygen species and free radicals in catalytic manners. Currently, we are testing their effects on aging and oxidative stress diseases using animal disease models and cell lines. We are also interested in the precise mechanisms of their scavenging reaction.
