Call for applications for 2020
The Graduate School of Frontier Sciences is currently calling for applications for a 40-day research internship program for the summer of 2020.
The Graduate School of Frontier Sciences provides academically motivated undergraduate students from outside Japan considering further study in the field of natural sciences and social sciences an opportunity to experience cutting-edge research. We provide scholarships and accommodation to selected participants in an effort to attract high quality applicants for our graduate program. It is intended to increase the enrollment willingness to the University of Tokyo, including the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences. UTSIP is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the challenges of research on Kashiwa Campus.
We welcome applications from all over the world regardless of the region.
In addition to instruction from world-class researchers, participants selected for the program will have an opportunity to determine their own research themes, conduct research activities, and make an oral presentation on the final day of the program. Some fascinating events of the program include experiencing Japanese culture such as calligraphy, and taking a field trip to learn about the latest Japanese technology.
