For water system

When you start using water

Contact the nearest Bureau of Waterworks (Suidokyoku) when you start using water after moving into your room.
In case you don't have water or to report water leakage, contact the Bureau of Waterworks (Suidokyoku).

For Kashiwa City's residents

Contact the Kashiwa City Water Division 3 days in advance, to start using water.
To open your account, you can send the application form in the mail, or you can ask on the phone.
To start using water, please open the valve by yourself.

For Nagareyama City's residents

At the apartment door there is a postcard (Notification for opening water line) in a clear plastic bag with a white string that will be hanging on the doorknob or in the mailbox. Fill out the details, such as your name and address, and cut it in half, then send it in the mail.
You cannot open your own water account by telephone. No postage is necessary to send the official postcard, even if the valid date on the postcard appears to have already expired.
If you cannot find the postcard (Notification for opening water line), contact the Bureau of Waterworks (Suidokyoku).   tel.04-7159-5311

When you start to use water, please confirm that the number on water meter and the written number on the postcard match. Then, open the water valve to start the flow of water.

How to pay the bill for water

Take the bill you received by mail to the bank, post office or convenience store, and pay before the due date.

Also, you can set up a system so that the water company will deduct the exact amount of money to pay the bill every month, automatically, from your bank or post office account.
