【Notice】Declaration of State of Emergency

The state of emergency has been declared in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Hyogo prefectures from April 25th to May 11th. The scheduled date of the lifting of the state of emergency is subject to change.
Chiba prefecture where the Kashiwa Campus is located has been issued emergency level 'Priority measures to prevent the spread' to curb the spread of the Covid-19 infection from April 20th to May 11th.

The Japanese government's border measures have not been eased and currently there is no sight of visa application acceptance resuming at the Japanese embassies abroad. We will notify you as soon as new information becomes available to us after May 11th, when the state of emergency declaration will be lifted.

Please note that the university office will be closed from April 29th to May 5th due to public holidays.
