Professor MATSUNAGA Sachihiro in the Department of Integrated Biosciences won the Japanese Society of Plant Morphology Award 2022 for his achievement "Elucidation of Regulatory Mechanism of Chromatin Dynamics That Underlies Organ Regeneration and Environmental Responses".

He had given a commemoration lecture at the 34th Japanese Society of Plant Morphology Conference,during which the award ceremony was held, at the Kyoto Institute, Library and Archives on September 16, 2022.

The Japanese Society of Plant Morphology Award
The Japanese Society of Plant Morphology (JSPM)  was founded in 1988. The JSPM Award is given to researchers who have long contributed to the advancement of plant morphology and plant science. The past award winners are listed here:

I am honored to receive the award from the Japanese Society of Plant Morphology for my achievement in plant morphology. I would like to express my gratitude to all who supported my research. I will continue to put all my efforts to contribute to the advancement of plant morphology and internationally publish my research outcomes.
