The Young Scientists' Award
Analysis of Multidimensional High-Resolution Satellite Images Based on Integrated Data
Naoto Yokoya, Associate Professor, Department of Complexity Science and Engineering, GSFS, the University of Tokyo

Message from Awardee
I am incredibly honored and grateful to have received the Young Scientist's Award. I want to express my sincere appreciation and thanks to my peers who worked with me and everyone who supported me. Satellite data containing information on a wide area of the earth's surface is invaluable for dealing with global issues. I will continue to make even greater efforts to hand over our work to the next generation through the development of satellite data analysis technology so that I may deserve this honor.

The Young Scientists' Award
Research on Mars Atmosphere with High Spectral Resolution Spectroscopy with Probe and Telescope
Shohei Aoki, Lecturer, Department of Complexity Science and Engineering, GSFS, the University of Tokyo

Message from Awardee
It is a great honor for me to receive the Young Scientist's Award. At the same time, receiving the award will only make me more determined to work harder to live up to this honor. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my family, who have always supported me, and everyone who has supported me in various ways since I was a graduate student. While research on the atmosphere of Mars and Venus rapidly advances with the recent development of planetary probes, new mysteries increasingly come out. I will continuously devote myself to systematically understanding the atmosphere of Earth-type planets.
